Inside NSPPD
1 / 8
NSPPD is the daily prayer broadcast of Streams of Joy International, with a congregation spread across continents. Its subscription app is in a controlled beta ahead of public launch: more than 1,000 members across 90 time zones are already using it, and it is already generating revenue. We built and run all of it, from the iOS and Android app to the platform behind it and the admin tools the ministry uses without engineers.
What it does
- Daily devotionals to read or listen to, with audio that downloads for offline use
- Sermons and media processed from the ministry’s broadcasts
- The full Bible, with notes, highlights and bookmarks
- Prayer mode, prayer lists and a prayer-request hub
- Streaks and a personal timeline that build a daily habit
- Shareable verse cards, gift subscriptions and referrals
- Events, with volunteer sign-up

- Global before it has launched
- The app has not been announced. It already has more than 1,000 members across 90 time zones in a controlled beta, and they are paying for it.
- One subscription, five ways to pay
- Nigerian cards through Paystack, international cards through Stripe, and native Apple and Google billing, reconciled into a single subscription state per member.
- Run by the ministry
- Content, translations, gifts, prayer requests, moderation, search and analytics all live in an admin platform the ministry runs itself.
